Integrity. Empowerment. Community.
I have lived in Old Bridge, New Jersey for almost two decades and I am seeking my first term on the assembly. As the eldest of seven children, I took on the responsibility of raising my younger siblings after my mother passed away at a young age. I proudly served in the U.S. Navy as a Hospital Corpsman and obtained a graduate degree from the University of Scranton in 2017. Currently, I am in the final stages of completing my PhD in Management at Walden University.
Throughout my career, I have gained valuable experience in operations management for global supply chain companies and worked as a Financial Advisor at New York Life. In my community, I have been actively involved with the Old Bridge Democratic Organization since 2018. My political engagement began following the 2016 presidential election, where I had previously volunteered for Representative Rush Holt's (D-Mercer, Middlesex, Somerset, Union) U.S. Senate campaign and served as a summer fellow for Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign.
Over the years, I have dedicated my time to various organizations in the northeast region, including New York Cares, American Red Cross, United Services Organization, iMentor, and Climate Reality Project. I am passionate about making a difference in New Jersey's political landscape, bringing new perspectives, and introducing fresh ideas.
My goal is to become the voice of compassion and inclusion in the New Jersey General Assembly. If elected, I will be the first democratic woman representing LD-12 in the Assembly and the first LGBTQIA+ woman elected in the NJ state legislature. I am committed to ensuring the full protection of women's reproductive freedom, fostering the creation of green jobs, protecting the environment, and caring for the well-being of children, seniors, and veterans.
Thank you for considering my candidacy, and I am eager to serve the people of New Jersey with integrity and dedication.
In a monumental stride for the district, LD-12 is witnessing an unprecedented moment as a unified Democratic ticket steps forward to represent the community. With Raya Arbiol, Brandon Rose, and Paul Sarti leading the charge, this team represents a diverse, passionate, and dedicated group committed to the ideals that bind us all.
For the first time in decades, this unified front champions the spirit of "stronger together," standing firm in their shared Democratic values and a collective vision for a more inclusive and progressive LD-12. This historic initiative symbolizes a significant step towards a more united and promising future for our community.
Paul Sarti is a seasoned individual dedicated to the betterment of his community. Having earned his BSW in Social Work from Stockton University in 1995, Paul's commitment to social welfare is deeply ingrained. Paul's advocacy for pro-choice and LGBTQ rights underlines his commitment to social justice and inclusivity.
